Daniela and Lawrence
recently married and were thrilled with their wedding
story.
"Lawrence and I met when
neither of us was openly looking for a life partner but I believe
we both knew deep down we would eventually find each other and fall
in love. When we got married 10 years later, it had been a long
journey … some said our relationship would never work and
some others held faith that it would work out wonderfully. It was
lovely to be able to testify to our friends and family that even
the "impossible" can be achieved through trust and perseverance, in
the form of a personal story. When you Tina, offered to write it, I
immediately thought it was a wonderful idea. Now everyone had a
chance to read about us and how it all happened - the humor and the
trials, the waiting and the joy of the wedding, and now the plans
for a life together.
A friend and her husband
baked individual fruit cakes and decorated them with tulle, we
added the story in the form of a scroll to these, tied them with a
ribbon and presented them to the guests at the end of our wedding
reception. They looked very special and people were intrigued by
this special gift. Later, many of our friends called and
commented on the scroll that told our story. Some of
Lawrence's friends had no idea - I guess girls talk a lot more! How
wonderful it was to be able to share our story with friends
on that special day."
